Greeting

We command you cause to come before our
Judges assigned to keep the peace and to hear and determine divers Felonies Trespasses and other misdemeanors in the said District committed at a Court of Quarter Sessions of the Peace to be holden at the town of Arkansas in and for the District of Arkansas on the first Monday of December next Twenty four good and lawful men of your District, to enquire and present on behalf of the United States for the body of the District of Arkansas and to do and perform all and singularly those things which shall then and there be enjoined by the law of the Country. Also, give notice to the several Justices of the Peace & Coroners of said District to be then and there with their records, rolls and recognizances and other remembrances that the court may proceed thereon and have you then & there this writ of Venire.

Witness the honorable Francois Vaugine presiding Judge of our said Court at the town of Arkansas aforesaid the twenty second Day of October in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and Nine & of Independce the thirty fourth
