We command you to take Dennis Chisholm if he be found within Your Bailiwick and him [missing] so that You have his Body before the Judges of our Court on the first Monday of April next then there to answer unto Robert Clary of a plea of Debt to the Damage of the said Clary the sum of Ninety two Dollars and have you then there this Writ (Paper

Robert Clary complains of Dennis Chisholm of a plea, that he tender to him Sixty Two Dollars of lawful money of the united States, which he ows to him; and unjustly detains from him, for that whereas the said Dennis Chisholm on the fourth day of June in the year of our lord 1810 at Arkansaw in the District aforesaid by his writing obligatory sealed with the seal of the said Dennis Chisholm, and now shewn to the Court of Common pleas for the District of Arkansaw, bearing date on the day & year aforesaid, acknowledged himself to be held & firmly bound to the barrer in the Sum of Sixty Too Dollars to be paid to the said Robert Clary when he should be thereunto required, and the said Dennis Chisholm although often [missing] have not yet paid the said Sixty Too Dollars; to the Said Robert Clary; or to any other person for him, but have hitherto altogether refused & still doth refuse to pay the same to him the said Robert Clary who is the barrer To the Damage of the said Robert Clary Thirty Dollars & therefore he brings his suit A.
