20 Know all men by these presents that I John D. Chisholm as principal, and Ignatius Chisholm as security are held and firmly bound to D Mooney Sheriff of the District of Arkansas in the penal sum of four hundred and sixty six Dollars & twenty three cents, for the payment of which, well and truly to be made & done we bind ourselves and each of our heirs Executors & administrators firmly by these presents; The condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bound John D Chisholm does be & appear at our court of common pleas to be holden in the town of Arkansas on the first Monday in April next ensuring then and there to answer unto Robert Clarey of a plea of trespass on the case to the Damage of the Said Robt Clarey four hundred & sixty six Dollars & twenty three cents & if judgment is obtained against him at that or any Subsequent term he shall pay the same & surrender himself in execution or his security will do the same for him then this obligation to be void, else to remain in full force & virtue given under our hands & seals the eighth day of March one thousand eight hundred & Eleven Test Perly Wallis John D Chisholm (seal) |
