the United States of america to the Sheriff of Arkansas District. Greeting
District of Arkansas}
We command you to cause to come before our Judges assigned to keep the peace; and to hear, and determine divers felonies, trespasses and other misdemeanors in the said district committed, at a Court of Quarter Sessions of the peace to be holden at the town of Arkansas in and for the district of Arkansas, on the fifth Monday of November next, twenty four Good & Lawfull men of your district, to enquire & present on behalf of the United States, for the body of the district of Arkansas; and to do and perform all and Singularly those things which shall be then and there enjoined them by the Law of the Country also give notice to the Several Justices of the peace and Coroners of said District to be then and there with their records rolls and recognizances and other remembrances that the Court may proceed thereon and have you then there this Writ.

Witness the Honorable Francois Vaugine Esq presiding Judge of our said Court, at the Town of Arkansas aforesaid, the ninth day of October in teh year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & twelve, & of the Independence of the United States the thirty seventh P Cassidy Clk
filed 27th Novr 1812 To the Honorable the Judges of the court of quarter sessions in & for the District of Arkansas Novr term, 1812, I Return that I have summonsed twenty four good & lawful men of my District as command in this writ whose names here followeth viz Christian Pringle, Anthony Wolf, Jacob Barkman, James Young, James C Norvall, George Rankin, James Currin, Harold Stillwell, Richmond Peeler, Patrick Heneberry, George Cook, John Jardelas, John Hendry, Alexr Jardelas, Joseph Dardannes, John Larkey, John McCartney, Jacob Stanley, Jno W Hunt, Peter Lefivre, Louis Dumont, Robt Jones, Elisha Wilborn, Chas Refeld, & the rest of the orders I followed as directed.
