(Bottom) To the Sheriff of the district of Arkansas Greeting- (Wax Seal) Territory of Missouri Joseph Hudsel by this attorney come here into court before the Honorable
Judge and complains of Elijah Bunch in a Plea of Trespass Force and Arms
for that the Said Bunch To wit at a Place called the Isle Of Shico Point
on the Tenth Day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight
hundred and Twelve with force and Arms with Threats and violense one yoke
of oxen of the Proper Goods and chattels of him the said Joseph Hudsel
and in His hands and Possession then and there found Did Take and Sieze
and carry away Said oxen being of the following Description viz one Sparke
Black and white the other Red and white with a red Head both Large and
Six years of age and of the Price and value of one hundred Dollars which
the Said bunch then and there Took and to His own Proper use Did Dispose
and convert the Same and the Said Joseph further sayeth That the Said
bunch Did then and there other wrongs and acts of violence unto Him the
Said Joseph and against the Peace and dignity of the United States and
the Laws of the Territory and to the Said Joseph his Damage Two hundred
Dollars for the recovery of which Together with cost he Brings Suit Joseph Hudsel |
