Anthony Haden v. Robert Clary
Declaration and Writ of Replevin
|
No 15 to the September Term 1814 Cassidy atty I have replevied the within mentioned horse and delivered him to the
plaintiff as within directed and also taken Pledges for the appearance
of the defendant LR Currin Dept Shff filed the 2nd augt 1814 JDodge clk Territory of Missouri Anthony Haden by his attorney Henry Cassidy complain of Robert Clary
of a plea wherefore he took the goods and chattels
of him the said Anthony Haden and the same unjustly detains against surety
and pledges: and whereupon the said Anthony Haden by his attorney aforesaid
Complaineth that the said Robert Clary on the twenty fifth day of July
in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and fourteen at a placed
called the Great Prairie in the County aforesaid took the goods and chattels
to wit one large Bay horse about five feet high with his right eye out
and dark main and tail the property of the said Anthony Haden and him
unjustly detains against sureties and pledges untill &c whereupon
the said Anthony Haden saith that he is prejudiced and hath sustained
damages to the value of two hundred dollars and therefore he brings his
suit &c The Clerk of the General Court in & for the County of Arkansas will
issue a writ of Replevin in the above case. County of Arkansas SS. The United State
of America to the Sheriff of the County aforesaid Greeting Witness the honorable George Bullitt Judge of our said County at Arkansas
the 2nd day of August A.D. 1814 and of our Independence the thirty ninth.
