To the Sheriff of Pulaski County Greeting:
We command you that of the goods and chattels, lands and tenements of
George Bentley you cause to be made the sum of Forty Six dollars &
Sixteen Cents Costs which Arch T. Wilborne late in our Superior Court
hath recovered against him for the Costs which appears to us of record;
and for want of sufficient goods and chattels, lands and tenements whereon
to levy and make the same, you are commanded to take the body of the said
George Bently and him convey to your common jail, and safely keep, until
said Costs be paid or he be discharged by due course of law: and that
your certify to our next October term how you have executed this writ.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand as Clerk, and affixed
the seal of office, this 3rd day of May 1824, and of the Independence
of the United States the forty-eighth
