To the Sheriff of Pulaski County-Greeting:

WE command you to take the body of Joseph Paxton if he be found in your bailiwick, and him safely keep, so that you have his body before the Judges of our Superior Court, at the Court-House in the town of Little Rock, in the county of Pulaski, on the first day of our next October term, then and there to answer Alexander S. Moore to a plea of debt one thousand forty nine dollars & thirty five cents damage Five hundred dollars and that you make due return of this writ to our said Court.

IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand as Clerk, and affixed the seal of office, this third day of June 1825, and of the Independence of the United States the forty Ninth
