UNITED STATES OF AMERICA } sct.
To the Sheriff of the County of Pulaski Greeting:
We command you to summon Sarah Embree John Dodge & Francois Valliere to appear before the Judges of our Superior Court, at the Court-house in the town of Little Rock, on the 2nd day of our next October term, then and there to testify, and the truth to speak, in behalf of Israel Dodge in a certain matter now pending in said Court, wherein Sam C. Roane is Plaintiff, and sd Dodge is Defendant, and that you make due return of this Subpoena to our said Court.

IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand, and affixed the Seal of my office, this 1st day of October 1827, and of the Independence of the United States of America the fifty-2nd.
