To the Sheriff of the County of Crawford Greeting:

We command you to summon David Ward and Jeremiah Cravens Senr to appear before the Judges of our Superior Court, at the Court-House in the town of Little Rock, on the first day of our next April term, then and there to testify, and the truth to speak, in behalf of John Skaggs in a certain matter now pending in said Court, wherein the United States of America is are Plaintiff, and John Skaggs is Defendant, and that you make due return of this Subpoena to our said Court.
