Entering into Bond with RC Byrd SecurityCarpenten not to be found
in pulaski County Big Rock Township January the 23 1828. (Right Side) Territory of Arkansas Thomas West by his attorney complains of Alexander W. Cotton and John
Caperton of a plea that they render unto him the sum of Two hundred and
thirty dollars [missing] detain from him. For that [whereas] the said
defendants on the sixth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and twenty three in the Territory of Arkansas and within
the Jurisdiction of this Court made their certain writing obligatory sealed
with their seals and now here to the Court shewn, by which they said defendants
on or before the sixth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and twenty five promised to pay said plaintiff one hundred
dollars for value received And whereas the said defendants on the
same day and year and at the place aforesaid made their certain other
writing obligatory sealed with their seals and now here to the Court shewn
by which The Clerk of the Superior Court for the Territory of Arkansas will please
issue a capias on the foregoing Declaration and indorse same an action
of Debt founded on writings obligatory dams $225and require bail
in the Sum of $300 |
