In the Superior Court for the Territory aforesaid to October Term A.D. 1827
The grand Jurors of the United States empaneled sworn and charged to enquire in and for the body of the Territory aforesaid upon their oath present and say that Abraham Secrets late of the County of Pulaski and Territory aforesaid on the tenth day of October Eighteen hundred and twenty seven at the County aforesaid did set up and keep a certain Table commonly called a dice table bank at which said bank at which said a certain game of chance commonly called dice was then and there played by and between the said Abraham Secrets and divers other persons to the Jurors aforesaid as yet unknown for a large sum of money to wit the sum of five dollars current money of the United States against the form of the Statute in such case made and provided and against the peace and dignity of the United States. And the Jurors aforesaid on their oath aforesaid do further present and say that the said Abraham Secrets on the said tenth day of October Eighteen hundred and twenty seven at the County aforesaid, did set up and keep a certain Bank commonly called a dice bank and then and there did induce and permit divers other persons to the Jurors aforesaid as yet unknown to bet against said Bank a large sum of money to wit. five dollars current money [Image of page 1] of the United States against the form of the Statute in such case made and provided and against the peace and dignity of the United States and this Territory
