In the Superior Court for said Territory
To October Term
In the Circuit Court for the County aforesaid
To October term, 1828

The Grand Jurors of the United States, impannelled, sworn and charged to inquire in and for the body of the Territory aforesaid the County of upon their oaths, present and say, that Duncan McCall late of the County of Pulaski in said Territory on the 13th day of October in the year one thousand eight hundred and twenty eight with force and arms, at the County aforesaid, in and upon one Jacob Reider in the peace of God, and of the United States, then and there being, did make an assault, and him, the said Jacob Reider then and there, did beat, wound, and ill-treat, so that his life was greatly despaired of, and other wrongs to the said Jacob Reider then and there did, to the great damage of the said Jacob Reider against the form of the statute in such case made and provided, and against the peace and dignity of the United States.
